FUNCTIONAL STEEL SCULPTURE

Kahaus is a small Sydney enterprise producing decorative and functional laser cut steel pieces. Inspired by the concrete sunscreens of American mid-century desert architecture, and traditional art forms including Japanese textile design and Polynesian tapa, Kahaus products interpret familiar motifs in graphic form in a range of patterns and compositions.

Suitable for both domestic and commercial environments, the Kahaus range includes
screens, decorative wall sculptures (steelscapes), coffee tables, stools and occasional tables (kubes), potscreens, and functional accessories including hanging racks and wall shelves. Kahaus makes products for indoor and outdoor rooms and also produces items for children (Kinderhaus). In addition, we offer a custom service which allows any of our patterns and products to be modified to individual specification.
